About Me

 © Annie Marie's Style, 2013

My name is Annie Marie. You can just call me Annie.

To start out, I live in Phoenix, AZ. I am finishing up my last week and a half of 8th grade, finishing middle school with a straight A report card. In my first year of high school, my honors classes will be algebra I and LAC (Literature Analysis and Composition.) The rest of my classes will be regular, which will be Earth science, Spanish I, and I'm not sure about my electives. I will be taking two of the following, my counselor will choose which ones I'm going to take: Computer science, journalism, computer literacy, and entrepreneurship. I am hoping for journalism and entrepreneurship as my two electives.

I have mid-length, brunette hair and my skin color is slightly darker than fair. I have dark brown eyes, nothing too special about them. I have straight teeth, and I never have needed braces in my whole life. My dentist tells me that I have pretty teeth and lucky to never need braces. I love to dress in pastel colors, frilly clothes, bows, sparkles, glitter, sequins, silky tops/blouses, leopard print, and the list goes on and on. My favorite top is the one shown in the picture above, it is a bow printed, blue blouse with a large black bow that ties in the front. It is from Loft, a store by Ann Taylor. A typical outfit of mine would be a blouse, skinny jeans, and flats/sandals. When I feel more casual, the outfit would probably consist of a graphic tee, shorts, and Converse or Vans. On dressy events, I like to wear a dress and heels. I can't decide between my favorite pair of heels, it would probably be either my white heels with a black bow (they were thrifted), or my cutout black heels from Vera Wang. When it comes to jewelry, I like to wear a simple heart necklace, stud diamond or pearl earrings, and a watch and bracelet on the same arm. I like to combine trends with some of my own style. If there is a trend that I don't like, I won't buy it. If there is a trend I do like, I might buy it and wear it, but I wouldn't stop wearing it after the trend went away, since I personally liked it in the first place.

Now that my school and appearance/style is done with, lets move on to my family and friends. I am an only child, but I am happy that way. I have one best friend, whom is like a sister to me even though we don't see each other that often, because we go to different schools. I would describe my friend as someone who cares, likes to laugh and be funny, and the kind of girl that loves to wear Converse everyday. I loved the outfit she wore of a plaid shirt unbuttoned with a t-shirt, skinny jeans, and white Converse. It was simple, casual, but still managed to pull it off in a chic way. I have a beautiful cousin who is still just a baby and learning to say words.

For my personality, you could say that when I first meet someone I am friendly and I will be glad to chat. Sometimes I find it hard to talk with a stranger because you don't know what to talk about, but then you get to know them better and find out your similarities and differences. I am not a popular girl, but nor am I a quiet person. I always found it hard to talk to someone I first met almost two years ago, but that person is now my best friend, the same person I talked about before. We always know what to talk about and we always get along, when before we were shy and didn't know what to say.

Let's talk about my interests and favorites. I will just put them in a list below.
  • Color: All shades of pink, and navy blue
  • Band: One Direction
  • Celebrity crush: Harry Styles, from One Direction (but I still love them all though!)
  • Singer: Taylor Swift, Lights, and Carly Rae Jepsen
  • Book: Crank by Ellen Hopkins (I literally read the whole book in less than two days)
  • Movie: I honestly have no idea, I don't watch movies and TV that much.
  • Food: Chicken
  • Drink: Vanilla iced coffee
  • Quote: "I would rather be a friendless loser than have a bunch of friends that secretly hate me" - Massie Block, The Clique
  • I will add more as I think of more things to share!
Love,
