Sometime in 2010

Only eleven years old, is when I started to read blogs. Fashion and beauty blogs to specific. That is also when I started watching beauty gurus on YouTube, although I have never had an interest in being one. I have always wanted to write. I can't remember what blogs I would read, but I always read them and wanted to be a blogger like them someday. I was thinking of starting one, but at the time most of the bloggers were older than me (young to older teen or early twenties), I didn't have good fashion taste or anything to talk about, and I was totally clueless on how to even start a blog. But that is when I knew I wanted to become a blogger and be like those "amazing girls", which is what I called them when I was that young, but I'm sure the owners of the blogs I read back then are still amazing girls!

Tumblr

Somewhere around June-July in 2012

Now twelve years old, I discovered Tumblr. Even though I was supposed to be thirteen to join, I just signed up with the year before the year I was born in. I made a Tumblr about Eleanor Calder's style. Eleanor Calder is the girlfriend of Louis Tomlinson from a popular boyband called One Direction. She is just a normal girl, and met Louis one day and they fell in love and she became so popular because of her fabulous style! My Tumblr really never became popular because there was so many other blogs about Eleanor's style that were super popular before I even made mine. I only had around 20-25 followers and I kept up on the blog for almost a year now, but I decided to quit. 

  

Beginning of Blogger

May 19, 2013 is the start date of this blog. I really never liked using Tumblr, I tried Wordpress but it was too complicated and I had to pay for the features I wanted. So Blogger was the winner. This blog was once named Litas & Louboutins. I really liked that name, I thought it was cute because the words started with the same letter and both had to do with shoes. But I wanted people to know me by my name, so I changed my blog name to anniemariesstyle, which of course has my name in it. At the same time, I didn't think the other name fit my blog because Litas are sort of on the edgy side, and Louboutins aren't really a shoe that I would wear. My style is girly and soft, and I want my blog to reflect the real me, so Litas & Louboutins wasn't a good choice, even though it was a really cute name.
